Summary: LS, troops of 9th USAF Troop Carrier Command on field. Follow shots, CUs, Prime Minister Winston Churchill gets out of Armored car with an assist from Brig Gen Maxwell D Taylor. Follow shots, Churchill, smoking cigar, inspects paratroopers and airborne infantrymen. CUs, Churchill, Gen Dwight D Eisenhower, and Brig Gen Taylor inspecting men. MSs, Gen Lewis H Brereton, Gen Eisenhower, Gen Taylor, and Churchill on review stand. LS, paratroopers jump from C-47s; sky full of planes and chutes dropping. Two chutists become entangled. CUs, troops and equipment landing, rushing for cover. BOMBING OF CASSINO.: Italy: 03/15/1944. AVs, bombers over target; no AA fire. Planes take-off from Pompeii; B-24 Mitchells over target. P-40s strike targets outside Cassino. A-20s attack.
