BORNEO BOMBING.: 02/1945. Animated map of Balikpapan, Borneo; Celebes and Morotai pinpointing 850 mile bombing route. AV, bomb hits and explosions on refineries and other targets in Balikpapan area in Borneo. AVs, B-24s over the target and flying above water. NIGHT ATTACKS AGAINST JAPAN.: 03/1945. MSs, MCUs, ground crews load fire bombs on B-29. Animated map shows 1330 mile-bomb route from Saipan to Kobe, Japan, 17 March 45. Another map shows 1310-mile run from Sayan to Nagoya on 19 Mar 45.
