Signal Corps ADC 3446 DC SOURCE: AFCF (M-1300) 446 FILM: ARCH & APC MP, 325' ea Silent GENERALS PATTON AND EDDY, BOLLENDORF, GERMANY (LIB 3160) 20 Feb 1945 Lt Gen George S Patton, Third Army CG, and Maj Gen Manton S Eddy, XII Corps CG, inspecting a bridge crossing the Sauer River which is named in honor of Patton. The bridge was built by the 1303d Engineers attached to the XII Corps. CU, Patton taking a picture with a miniature camera. Scenes of the two Generals on the inspection tour and crossing the bridge on foot followed by others. CU, sign: "General Patton Built Bridge by the Mighty Midgets, Co F, 1303d Engineers. 11 Additional scenes of the two Generals and party inspecting bridge and area.
