ACTIVITIES OF F CO, 63RD INF, 6TH DIV East of Manila, P I 10 Apr 45 MCU, wounded man on litter with blood on his face, gets a drink from medic. Wounded man shakes his head and writhes in pain. MS, wounded man is carried on litter from hill after being hit by Japenese artillery fire. VS, soldiers digging in on hill. MS, wounded man lying face down on litter as his wounds are dressed at Battalion Aid Station. OPERATIONS OF THE 6TH DIV East of Manila, P I 16 Apr 45 Short scene, 81mm mortars are fired. Record Group 111 VS, infantryment follow tank up hill. Accession III-NAV-210 vs, troops of "B" Co advance cautiously thru tall grass. MS, soldier fires white phosphorous grenade to screen litter bearers from enemy fire. MS, infantrymen on the alert kneeling in the grass.
