Accession III-NAV-210 NEW TYPE 81mm MORTAR Anyang - 8 Feb 51 Men, Co "D", 35th Inf Regt, adjusting new mortar which has just been flown in. CU, soldier looking through sight. CU, round baseplate. Tilt-down, along mortar to the baseplate as shell is fired. 187TH REGIMENTAL COMBAT TEAM Korea 7 Feb 51 Men in open field patched with snow loading and firing 105mm howitzer. Man handling shell. CU, man looking through sight. Man putting shell together. MS, as shell is put into breech. RV, gun is fired. Old shell ejected and a new one inserted. Unloading shells from boxes on truck. MCU, as men file by, smiling. One man holds up walking cane. 35TH INF GOES TO THE HAN Yongdongpo - 10 Feb 51 LS, field and mountains. Men move out across field which is speckled with light snow. A soldier guards a prisoner carrying a wounded prisoner. ELSs, some men trodding across field over crest of hill. CU, gunner of Co "A" fires .30 cal air-cooled MG. The arch is knocked down and a man grabs the N Korean flag on top and throws it to the ground. MS, three men holding NK flag. Two soldiers, with rifles ready, pause in field, look around, then move on. Two soldiers around sign, "Han River Bridge". CU, sign, "Seoul Off Limits". A Lt near one of three POWs who have just been taken look like Chinese. CU, prisoner. The prisoners are forced to lie face down on jeep hood by guard. ROKs and 89TH TANK IN FIGHT Yongdongpo - 11 Feb ROKs, 1st ROK Div on Sherman tank as it moves onto bridge. RV, two ROKs running. They are evidently trying to avoid being sniped at.
