Description

Summary: MS, woods. US patrol goes forward and tells N Korean POW to lie down. MS, MCU, patrol leader searches prisoner. MSs, prisoner gets up and signals others in bush to surrender. MS, prisoners lay down arms and surrender. MLS, patrol lines up POWs and searches one at a time. MLS, patrol moving down path and looking for enemy. MS, the patrol leader advancing. MLS, MS, the patrol lead by leader (houses in bg). MS, patrol member looking around. MLS, patrol moving along a path. MS, patrol hitting dirt. MLS, patrol coming out of bush. MLS, MS, POW lying on ground and patrol leader searching him. LS, patrol marches POWs to CP for questioning. MLS, MS, last man in patrol carries captured weapons. MLSs, POWs hands on heads, marching to CP. LS, interpreters entering enclosure to interrogate POWs. MS, interpreter calling a POW forward and making him sit down near him. MCU, POW and interpreter. CU, POW tag. CU, interpreter's pad on which he is writing. LS, POWs exchanging places. LS, POW enclosure. MLS, POWs move to rear into CO CP. MLS, a captain comes out of tent and begins to interrogate. MSs, a captain questions prisoners and gives them POW cards. MLS, POWs under guard marching to jeep. MS, prisoners pile into jeep. MS, jeep pulls out to Regt CP. MLS, jeep moving across sandy ground. MS, enclosure showing MD table (from outside barbed wire) for treatment of prisoners. 2-1/2 ton truck backing up to enclosure. MS, driver drops tail gate and guards jump off. MLS POWs leave truck. MS, wounded POW in line. MCU, CU, wounded leg. MLS, driver gets receipt for POW from guard. MS, driver puts up tail gate. LS, MS, truck moves out of compound. LS, MLS, POWs are allowed to sit down while being processed. LSs, MS, jeep entering regiment collecting point. LS, MS, unloading jeep. MLS, MS, POWs being marched into enclosure. LS, truck backing up to load prisoners. MLS, MS prisoners leaving enclosure and getting on truck. CU, sign: "2xx POWE Here". LS, truck bringing POWs to Div. POW enclosure. MSs, guards & POWs step out of truck. MLSs, MSs, POW is striped to waist and document found on him. MLS, document put in envelope and sent to I P W for G-2 value after interpreter looks it over. LS, MS, doctor asks if any POWs are bounded. The wounded are treated while others are moved into stockade. MS, POWs searched by MP (2nd Div) while other POWs sit in bg. MCUs, possessions of POWs are put on ground. MLS, POW is striped to waist. MLS, a document is found on POW. MCUs after interpreter looks at it, document is put in envelope and sent to I P W for G-2. MLS, POWs in camp.
