MS, men plodding twd camera. Some of them look very tired. (Focus a bit soft). RV, of the men plodding along the wet dirt road. MS, RV & MS, two colored US soldiers firing .50 cal MG. MLS, the same men at MG which is mounted on a vehicle. Four other men in scene. MCU, RV, as the .50 MG is fired rapidly. Men around 4.2 mortar. They put the sighting piece on. HMS, round is fired from the 4.2. Sight is put on. CU, of sight on mortar. MLS, mortar being fired again, the range checked. Men fuzing mortar shells. CU, ban removing pin from the shell. They are Bell H-l3Ds. Some men standing in the scene; also vehicle. MLS, Maj Gen Clark L Ruffner, CG of 2nd, on stand. Cut to, Color Guard. MLS, as Gen Ruffner pins the unit citation streamer on colors. MLS, Gen Ruffner decorating some of the men. An L-19 comes to stop on the field, a general gets out--unimportant. IMJIN RIVER FERRY.: 10 Mi. NW of Yongchon, Korea: 08/25: A ponton ferry in at shore; a Sherman tank comes off. This is in the 5th Cav area and the men operating the ferry are of the 3rd Platoon of "A" Co., 8th Engrs. Vehicle going aboard the ponton ferry. MLS, as the ferry starts to move out. Several small vehicles are aboard. HMS, of the soldier operating the boat which pushes the ferry. Receding shoreline seen from ferry. Aboard the ferry as it approaches shore. A man in the fg throws the lines. They are grabbed by men on shore. CU, of the pilot. Short Flash, of a jeep rolling off the ferry.
