Summary: Men, 2nd Royal Canadian horse artillery firing a 25 pounder. Action at breech as gun is loaded and fired. CU, man looking through sight. MS, RV, showing recoil of the barrel as the gun is fired. HS, from above, as three 25 pounders are fired simultaneously. MLS, from the ground, the same. MLS, RV, as two guns are fired. Man working at plotting board as Lt H T Haney relays fire mission. (Both men stripped to waist.) CU, gunner Gordon Reid speaking to forward observer into telephone. HS, some Canadian troops of the Royal 22nd Regt (Van Doos) move past a group of civilians who are being marched back from town cleared by the Canadians. HMS, Korean natives dressed in white move past. CU, feet walking past. Men, Canadian Pioneer Corps check "Chink" box mines for booby traps. CU, as man attaches wire to mine to pull it out. (incomplete) Troops pass civilians as they go through village. MS, Canadian talking to ROK with walkie-talkie on his back as Canadians and civilians look on. CUs, Canadians eating out of the tin cans. MCU, man holding umbrella as he talks over phone. Gives phone to his CO. Brig Rockingham, CO, Lt Col Robert Keane, Maj James Quinn as they talk over map on jeep hood. CUs, officers as they talk. CU, Brig Rockingham. A Crew of a Vickers medium MG standing by. CU, man at the gun on the alert ready for firing. Canadians at two 81mm mortars. MS, as a round is fired from one mortar. Sev men around map. Officer gives route of march. Seq: Officer walks in with map. The officer gives men route of march patrol. CU, finger pointing to route on map. The men break up. One man puts on a camouflaged jacket and then the men start out.
