MS, from transport, LCPs pull up alongside, soldiers disembark from transport to LCP down ship's ladder; LCP pulls away. Several MS, soldiers on deck of transport, going down ship's ladder. MS, sailor signals with semaphore flags. CU, sailor talks into chest microphone. CU, sailor on deck of transport draws automatic pistol and inserts clips. LS, through rigging, transport in distance sends numbers with blinker light. MS, sailor ascends in boatswain's chair. ACTIVITIES AT AIRPORT.: (No location) CU, from another plane, C-47 in flight. Sequence, P-38s taxi, take off, desert terrain. LS, from ground, formation of 8 P-38s in flight. CU, call board beside tent. CU, pilot gets out of cockpit of P-38.
