Summary: Gen Eisenhower, answering off screen questions of a solder; discusses necessity for sending ETO soldiers to the Pacific when Nimitz and MacArthur are doing such a good job. He also discusses possibility of ETO men getting furloughs home before going to the Pacific, and explains the necessity of holding men eligible for discharge in ETO until such time as transports are available from their primary use of shipping supplies to the Pacific.
