Description

Summary: Thousands of German civilians and soldiers flee from the Russians, crossing the Elbe River to the American side. German soldiers passing US control point drop their guns. They are frequently speeded along by an American soldier who occasionally kicks them. Excellent scenes, endless procession of German prisoners coming across the bombed bridge. Many highranking officers appear in these scenes. AV of Tangermunde and surrounding terrian. The great multitude of prisoners is visible from the air. Excellent CUs, MSs, German soldiers waiting to cross the river; among them are general officers. Various types of German civilians, some very old, crossing shaky bridge path.
