Description

Summary: Seq: People in suburbs and cities scurry to air raid shelters. Ints, plotting the course of the air raiders at communications center. Seq: Civilian water brigade attempts to extinguish fires in homes. Organized fire fighters setting up modern equipment, draining water from small streams and lakes and fighting fires. VS, siren "All Clear"; people leaving shelters and returning to bomb out homes as ARP (air raid patrol) workers clear rubble and administer first aid to casualties. VS, demolished buildings and churches in the city of Cologne. VS, German industrial plant continuing at full speed, manufacturing weapons despite the bombings.
