Summary: NOTE: This is a blow-up from l6mm. CUs machine gunners in action aboard B-17. B-24 leaving vapor trails. Unidentified burning plane falling. Shots of bombers in flight; vapor trails streaming from planes. Shot of B-17 in flight with part of rudder damaged. AVs, as hit B-17 falls to earth. AVs, globs of flak floating in the air. CU, pilot lowering landing gear as he approaches runway. Follow shot as P-47 with damaged tire on landing gear makes forced landing (Lands safely). Follow shot, P-37 landing on airstrip. Flight of P-47s (Thunderbolts) flying overhead. Shots of Thunderbolts in 4s and 5s peeling off, one at a time an landing. Fighter plane coming to stop, pilot getting out, enter jeep and being driven away. Interiors of mission hut as pilots are briefed by an S-2 officer.
