The 1st and 3rd Armies occupy rubbled Houffalize. A bridge and a blockhouse are exploded as the 7th Army retreats on the Alsace front. The 79th Division battles across a bridge near Haguenau. Part 4 shows bomb damage at Markwiller, France. Part 5 (Reel 3), British carrier planes attack Sumatra; 4 crash while landing. Part 6, 5th A.A.F. B-25's drop parachute bombs on Celebes Is., Neth. Indies.
