The planes look almost like models in their protective plastic cacoons. Dock hands dispatch the heavy fighters as easily and gently as a crate of eggs from the carrier to the dock then onto the barge which carries the F-100s down the river to Kisaraza Air Base where the real work begins. (e) Supersabres shed their skins in the first step of getting ready for Squadron duty Next, a good scrub-down and a good steam bath. After a quick check of systems, the F-100s are on their way for assignment to combat-ready Units throughout the Far East.
