Center of interest is the Air Force's newest ICEM -- the MINUTEMAN, revealed to the public for the first time at the Air Force Association's 1960 Convention. Against the background presented by the huge Air Forge TITAN inter- continental ballistic missile, a lovely model adds her charm to a dress of muted plaid flennel in tones of grey and brown. Her chapeau is of natural mink. This gold wool suit with African leopard collar and matching leopard het provides the perfect contrast to the MINUTEMAN The model uses the wing of the X-1B rocket plane for a stage. A full scale display model of the powerful rocket engine that has hurled more satellites into orbit than any other here plays the counterpoint to a suit of black wool with chartreuse jersey. The model's hat is of South Amercian ocelot. The engine is the 150,000 pound-thrust rocket poverplant for the Air Force THOR spacebooster.
