Description
Reel 1 shows the Tennessee River at Muscle Shoals, steam shovels excavating, rock crushers in operation, workers' residences, children in school rooms and at recess, air hammers in operation, and foundations being poured. Reel 2, railroad cars are loaded with dirt, the river is dredged, gravel is processed, concrete mixed, wooden forms constructed and set in position, concrete poured, and turbines placed in position. Shows panoramic views of the operations and water pouring through newly constructed spillways.
