Description

Ground crew unhooks intercom connections from plane, removes chocks from landing gear wheels, etc. The plane taxies to starting point. Int of plane as pilot moves controls. Plane rolls away, lifts off ground. The Stratojet in the air as landing gear is retracted. Int, pilot opens throttle, flicks switches. Cut to, takeoff. VSs, B-47 in flight. Back to the pilot at controls. Cut to the Capt briefing the officers. One of them refills his coffee cup. Mach number meter on plane's panel board.
