Gen Matthew B. Ridgway, Gen Mark Clark, Maj Gen Howard M. Turner (USAF) and V Adm Charles T. Joy stand by parked copter in field. In front of them stands Capt Harriet winkler and Col Ruby Bradley both of ANC. Voice from off-screen reads the citation awarding Winkler the Bronze Star Medal (out). Ridgway awards the Medal and speaks to Winkler (sound inaudible, picture out). The officers congratulate Winkler. MLS, Ridgway re-enacts the Medal presentation and adds his "..personal tribute to you and all woman (of the armed services)..whose contributions.. are of incalculable importance.." (camera shake).
