Summary: 284' - VS, troops of the 1st Training Bn are familiarized with Vietcong tactics such as false walls in huts, tunnels in and out of villages and jungle booby traps. South Viet and Vietcong flags are shown. VS, troops going through the obstacle course.1st Bde, 101st Abn Div.: Phang Rang, South Vietnam: 01/26-27-28/1967: 338': 1st Inf Div band plays. BG Willard Pearson and LTG Jean E Engler walk to UH-1D. Ceremony in which Gen Pearson transfers command of the 1st Bde, 101st Abn Div, to Gen Engler. Gen Engler presents Legion of Merit to Gen Pearson. Convoy of the 1st Bde, 101st Abn Div, arriving from Kontum, enters HQ area. Gen Pearson greets officer in charge. VS, change-in-command ceremony in which MG John Norton turns over command to BG S H Matheson. (Slightly underexposed)
