Description

Summary: Shot from tugboat as it approaches barge. Soldier secures the tug to the barge. Soldier at wheel of barge under way and as it approaches pier. Tugboat under way in harbor. Tug approaches crane barge and is secured to the barge. Pilot at wheel of tug as it makes its way in the harbor. Crew's quarters; bunks and lockers. Captain's quarters. VS, cook preparing meal in galley. VS, soldiers eating at table aboard the tug. Barge- mounted crane lifting LCM onto barge. Tugboat pulls up alongside the barge. Tug pushes barge across harbor to dock. VS, soldiers eating steak dinners at table on the fantail of the tug. VS, soldier at grill tending steaks on deck of tugboat.
