Description

Summary: UH-lD medical copter lands. Wounded ARVN is carried on litter to waiting ambulance. Ambulance drives off. Another medicopter lands. ARVN is helped to ambulance. Another ARVN is carried on litter to the ambulance. American copter gunner carries two wounded ARVNs, one under each arm to ambulance. The ambulance drives off. Pan from fishing boat on lake to CH-47 copter on pad. CH-47 takes off. CH-47 flies past with CONEX container in sling. Pan from lake to MG in tower. Another CH-47 flies past with COMEX in sling. Mortar detector radar equipment. Flight of UH-lDs landing. Pan, airfield. Pan from tower to mortar dectector radar. VS, guard towers and barbed wire. Wounded ARVN gets off copter. Wounded ARVN on litter is carried to ambulance. Medical copter takes off. Ambulance drives off. Litters with blood stains on ground, pan to waiting ambulances. Sign: "Rat Poison" on ground. Tilt up to tower. Tilt up, sandbags to American soldier on guard in tower. INT, miscellaneous equipment in tower, M-60 MG ammo belt hangs from beam, M-l6 on shelf, smoke grenades in box. CU, pan from barbed wire to tower. Buildings in compound. CU, sign: "Guard Post #5", CU, barbed wire. Little girl in bg.
