Description

Summary: Soldier operates aiming circle to align sights for 8" SP M-110 howitzer. Soldiers build ammunition bunker. VS, soldiers shovel sand into bags and place them around bunker. Two soldiers dig hole to store boxes of detonating fuses. MS, 8" howitzer moves into position. MCU, TNT high explosive shell is loaded into M-110 howitzer; howitzer fires. SP Howitzer takes up new position and aiming circle sites new firing position. MS, M- 110 howitzer fires. RV, gun firing. Crew loads weapon with TNT charge and gun fires. Several shots of firings. MCU, barrel as weapon fires. CU, shells being fused. Barrel of M-110 is silhouetted against sky. LS, hit on mountain. (Shots of troops operating computer and sites have flare). MLS, sandbagged ammo bunker with M-110 in bg. LS, fire direction center (FDC). MS, RV, M-110 fires toward mountains. MLS, truck loaded with shells. MLS, 8" SP M-110 howitzer in position.
