Fellow Americans Part 2
Description
This film emphasizes that all Americans have wartime responsibilities. Some citizens of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Tampa, Florida; New York City, New York; and Port Arthur, Texas are unaffected by war directly, although neighbors' sons were killed during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Street scenes and daily activities in the four cities are shown, including furniture making in Grand Rapids, cigar wrapping in Tampa, and oil well operations near Port Arthur. The film is a production of the Office for Emergency Management that was directed by Garson Kanin and narrated by James Stewart.
