HOMES FOR DEFENSE Part 1

Description

On construction of housing for war workers under the auspices of the Division of Defense Housing Coordination. Workers are housed in a trailer camp. A prefabricated house is assembled. An excavation is made for a community sewage disposal plant, linesmen erect telephone lines, cement is mixed, walls erected, and stucco siding applied to homes. Shows many new housing developments.
