Reel 1, Part 1 shows a night artillery barrage near El Alamein; Brit. bombers strike the city; inf. advances across the desert. Flashbacks show the 1942 landing in Algeria; street fighting in Algiers; Axis prisoners being marched to the rear; and U.S. ships and supplies on the dock in Algiers. RAF and U.S. bombers strike Benghazi. Brit. tanks enter Cyrengica. Part 2, Ger. Gen. von Paulus surrenders at Stalingrad; long lines of Ger. prisoners are marched to the rear. Part 3, Brit. tanks, trucks, and troops, including Gen. Montgomery, move through the streets of Tripoli. Part 4 shows Roosevelt and Churchill conversing at the Casablanca Conference. Part 5, U.S. bombers hit a Japanese ship in the Bismarck Sea. Part 6, Brit. troops, tanks, and trucks enter Tunis; Ger. POW's are massed in a freight yard. Part 7 shows U.S. troops on the dock in Bizerte. Part 8 shows brief scenes of the landing on Pantelleria. Part 9, RAF bombers strike Ger. installations at night. Reel 2, Part 1 shows King George VI greeting Brit. troops and civilians in N. Africa and on Malta. Part 2, a torpedo is fired from a Brit. submarine in practice. Churchill observes the action. Part 3, bombs explode near Brit. ships off Sicily; troops move up a road, through a forest, and over hills. A stretcher case is treated at a field hospital. Shows street fighting in a town. Civilians throw rocks at a picture of Mussolini.
