Description
On naval aviation. Reel 1, PBY seaplanes taxi and take off at Pensacola, Fla. SP2U planes are warmed up, taxied, and flown in formation. Cadets learn instrument flying in Link trainers, fire machine guns on a range, and shoot at sleeve targets from trainer planes. At San Diego, engines are repaired and assembled, parachutes packed, and SP2U's landed. Reel 2, trainer planes and SP2U's take off from an aircraft carrier and bomb targets on land and at sea.
