This moving image contains the following: Reel 1 (parts 1-3 pertain to the German occupation of Denmark?), Part 1, ceremonial guards and marching civilians precede a horse-drawn coach through city streets. Part 2, an officer receives military functionaries and then reviews a body of shovel-carrying troops. Part 3, holiday festivities feature a parade of floats. Part 4, German youth participate in sports (calisthenics, running, pole vaulting). Women play ice hockey, frolic in snow while wearing bathing suits, and play table tennis. Men receive table tennis awards. Soccer and boxing matches are held. Part 5 (pertains to Vichy?), a French military unit salutes as civilian recruits board a bus for an Army reception center. Reel 2, civilians view a single-engine fighter before takeoff and during its flight. Reel 3, Part 1 (pertains to Vichy?), a French military unit salutes the tricolor. Part 2, German antiaircraft and a fighter plane defend materiel stockpiled in North Africa; an enemy plane is downed and its pilot captured. Part 3, action on the Eastern front: German infantry advance using horses and sleds to transport supplies and employing tanks as shields and as field artillery; machine guns and artillery are fired; Luftwaffe bombs and rockets set a large fire; and an enemy fighter plane is shot down by rockets. Reel 4, Part 1 shows a damaged German fighter plane parked on an airstrip. Part 2, a German U-boat returns to port flying victory pennants.
