CATAPULT SEAT
Description
SUMMARY: LS, Actual scene of pilot seat being catapulted out of plane. Animated scene of pilot being catapulted out of plane with seat. During descent, pilot releases seat and opens parachute to make safe landing. Various angles of pilot seat being catapulted out of plane. In most of these trials, the seat strikes the tail assembly causing serious damage. The seat is then thrown higher to clear the tail assembly.
