SUMMARY: Swimming Marathon at Sochi on the Black Sea: Outdoor scenes of Sochi in the summer as people walk about city streets. People going to the seashore. Crowds line beach to watch start of a swimming marathon. The swimmers, both men and women line up. A flag is raised atop pole heralding the start of the competition. Swimmers enter water and start long swim in waters off the shores of the Black Sea. Fans watch from the shoreline. Swimmers are given liquid to drink from rowboat to strengthen them during the long swim. Rowboats row alongside the swimmers. Girl winners get out of water, receive flowers, kisses and the plaudits of the crowds. A new flock of many swimmers starts race. A motorboat off shore receives notes from rowboat officials. On board motorboat are electro-watches to accurately record time of the swimmers. One of winners is a Russian woman, Mrs. Wtorowa. USSR in Tennis, Dynamo Stadium, Moscow: Overhead scene of a tennis match in progress. Girls singles game. Girl serves. Fans in seats alongside tennis court watch this outdoor match, and cheer players along. One of the girls wins and receives applause, flowers and kisses. Men's singles game of tennis. Man serves. Game in progress. At end of game men kiss at net and winner receives flowers. Along Moscow Highway Motorcyclist Race: Sixty motorcyclists line up along highway of both men and women. Official starts off race. Motorcyclists start off one after another and speed along roads. Electro-second watches of the officials time the speeds of the motorcyclists.
