STS-93 Part 1

Description

This video recording chronicles an event that honored the crew of STS-93 on the completion of their successful space mission. Singer Judy Collins (commissioned by NASA through the NASA Art Program) sang her newly composed song "Beyond the Sky" which she wrote for Commander Eileen Collins, the first woman to head a space shuttle mission. This is followed by a brief film that described the shuttle mission and focused on the individuals who made up the crew -- their backgrounds and what they brought to the mission.
