Summit 1960 Part 3
Description
This film chronicles the air of pessimism that prevailed at the 1960 "Big Four" Paris summit. Footage includes President Dwight D. Eisenhower as he gave a speech, and examines how Nikita Khrushchev's demand for an American apology (following the U2 spy plane incident) prevented the summit from going beyond preliminary procedural meetings.
