Description

This film portrays the community efforts of rural villagers throughout Tanganyika (Tanzania), as they moved their country along the road of progress. Scenes depict men and women as they worked together to build and widen roads, open land for agricultural development, and build community centers. Also shown is President Julius Nyerere, as he worked in the fields with villagers.
