A Day in Vietnam Part 6
Description
This film portrays Navy and Marine Corps action in Vietnam from March 1965, when the Marines landed at Da Nang, until 1967, when extensive ground combat operations and air strikes against both North and South Vietnam were conducted. Scenes show Marines attacking across open rice paddies and moving through dense vegetation, as well as a variety of U.S. aircraft used in close-combat operations. Also shown are the various civic actions U.S. soldiers engaged in to build trust with the villagers and to relieve hardship. The film was presented by the United States Marine Corps, produced by the U.S. Naval Photographic Center, and narrated by Jack Webb.
