The Village That Wouldn't Die Part 3
Description
This film tells the story of the determined people of Aunay-sur-Odon, France and their three towns: the first, demolished in the Normandy liberation; the second, a shanty town built by inhabitants who refused to leave the site; and the third, a modern town, complete with a new hospital, that was built with the help of Marshall Plan aid. This is a Marshall Plan film (and part of the "Changing the Face of Europe" series), directed by Alain Pol, narrated by M. Griffe, and produced by Tele-Radio-Cine Productions (Wesley Ruggles), Paris, for ECA France.
