Puerto Rico Prologue

Description

This film provides a brief history of Puerto Rico and highlights the Jones-Shafroth Act of 1917, which granted all Puerto Ricans automatic U.S. citizenship; and the Puerto Rico Federal Relations Act of 1950, which enabled the people of Puerto Rico to organize a local government pursuant to a constitution of their own.
