Description

This film deals with the "other war" in Vietnam — the struggle of the South Vietnamese, with assistance from America and others, to heal war wounds and build a sound basis for a peaceful future. The film shows a single, minor incident and the repair of a small boy's cleft lip by a volunteer Filipino medical team to represent the work of many. This is a Guggenheim Productions, Inc. film, produced and directed by Richard Heffron.
