Bull's Eye for Farmer Pietersen - 1950 Reel 2 · Part 1
Description
In sessions at the local pub, Farmer Pietersen persuades his neighbors of the benefits of mechanized farming. They agree to use the new machines available through the Marshall Plan on a cooperative basis. Soon they do produce more, with less effort. A skeptic among them sticks to his old ways and is won over only when the machines save his harvest from an approaching storm. Addressed to Dutch farmers, the film was ultimately voiced in seven languages and used in agricultural aid programs in the many corners of Europe. A Marshall Plan film, directed by Ytzen Brusse, and a production of N.V. Forum produced by Cinetone Studios, Amsterdam, for ECA Netherlands.
