Assignment Tomorrow Part 4
Description
This film describes the training and development of healthier, happier, and better-informed young citizens for the future. A large part of this assignment lies in the hands of America's teachers. One of their hardest tasks is to help lift the standards of living, health, and learning in all communities where serious deficiencies still exist. The film shows how teachers work together to this end in schools, communities, and even in state and federal congresses. Only well-paid, free, and informed teaching personnel, with adequate facilities at hand, can be expected to educate properly the American citizens of tomorrow. The film was produced by Irving Jacoby for the National Education Association.
