Description

Tractors "lift" beets and they are hand topped and loaded into trucks. Trucks carry the beets to a dump alongside a canal. Men operate tractor mounted beet lifters, and mechanical loaders. Has close-ups of the operation of an Urschel-Scott Viner harvester, and of men working while riding the harvester. Also shows men windrowing beets by hand.
