Description

Dramatizes the use of calcium arsenate spray to combat boll weevils. Reel 1, samples of calcium arsenate are examined at the Department of Agriculture laboratories in Tallulah, La., and in Washington, D.C. Shows various methods and schedules of dusting cotton fields. Reel 2 contrasts yields from properly dusted fields and neglected fields. Emphasizes the different uses of various dusting machines.
