Description

Shows the construction of asphaltic concrete and sheet asphalt roads. Asphaltic concrete is made by mixing asphalt and crushed rock. The mixture is dumped and spread on a roadbed, covered with a hot coating of sand and asphalt, dusted with Portland cement, and rolled.
