Description
Reel 1, grain cars arrive at a railroad terminal in Chicago. Samples are taken from each car and the grain is tested for heat, moisture, and dockage content. Reel 2, graded grain is sold on the basis of the samples at the grain exchange by shipper's representatives. Federal inspectors examine grain and ship's holds prior to shipping grain abroad.
