Description

Reel 1 describes unbalanced diets stressing the need for balanced diets, especially for children. Scientists conduct diet experiments with white rats. Charts show the different rates of growth for a rat on a basic diet of meat and potatoes and one on a diet that includes green vegetables and milk. Reel 2 is not in National Archives.
