Description
Baled cotton is received at a mill, trucked to the opening room, opened, and fed to an automatic mixer. A breaker-picker machine removes trash from the cotton. A finisher-picker machine doffs and weighs the finished lap. Laps are then carded and put through a combing machine which removes short and matted fibers.
