Description

Reel 1 shows farm homes in California, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Utah, and Nevada. Department of Agriculture agents give demonstrations in Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and California. Describes a "neighborhood leader" project inaugurated in Merced County, California. Farm women model dresses they have made. Reel 2, 4-H girls demonstrate the characteristics of good shoes. Home demonstration work is carried on in California, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. Extension agents provide plans and advice for the remodeling and rebuilding of farm homes. Shows farm women's camps in Montana and Idaho.
