Air Force Now 228 Part 3
Description
The original agency catalog description reads: Audience: Air Force Commander's Call. Synopsis: Segment one takes a look at the Forward Air Control in Korea. The border between North and South Korea has been described as a tinderbox that could explode at any time -- the Air Force and Army are determined to keep the peace in this volatile region. Segment two presents a Project Warrior segment: Linebacker II, the name given to the final series of B-52 bombing raids over North Vietnam. These raids were a decisive factor in leading to the signature on the Paris Peace Accords and the release of our Prisoners of War (POWs). Segment three takes us to Brooks Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, for a look at the Air Force drug testing laboratory. (Segment three is not cleared for public release.) Purpose: Explains the Air Force mission and accomplishments.
