Air Force Now 236 Part 4
Description
The original agency catalog description reads: Audience: Air Force personnel. Synopsis: Segment 1 is a two-minute spot featuring Eggbert under the eggfluence. This short animated anti-drinking and driving spot shows how fragile Eggbert can be when faced with the eggceptional decision that drinking and driving don't mix, but can make an omelet. Segment 2 presents a "Portrait in Blue": Major General Jeanne M. Holm. Major General Holm, the first female general in the Air Force, began her military career in World War II as a truck driver in the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps. Now, as director of women in the Air Force, she has led the fight against discrimination and has gradually been able to bring about change in both laws and attitudes about women in the military. Segment 3 brings to the screen the history of the B-52 Stratofortress and gives our salute to this proud bird. Since it was rolled off the assembly line in 1954, it has served superbly as one of this country's most reliable and cost-effective weapon systems. Purpose: Explains the Air Force mission and accomplishments. Air Force Commander's Call.
