Summary: ABSTRACT: Pilots of F-86 Sabrejets are interviewed upon their return from missions to "Mig Alley". Reels l & 2 show pilots that are not flying -- listening to the words of their buddies who are on the mission. Engineering officer and crew chief are interviewed concerning plane shortages and lack of parts. Reel #3 shows Col. Francis S. Gabreski as he tells of his mission to Mig Alley -- Jan. 12,1952 while he is yet in the cockpit. A biographical sketch of the Colonel and various incidents that had previously distinguished him is attached to this report.
