Summary: Scenes from 5th Epidemiological Flight as war is waged against disease-bearing insects in Korea. 5th October 53--21st October 1953. (Photo'd by 2nd Photo Sq). Reel 1: 1) MS's street scenes, jeep comes into picture from left, parks, military personnel get out of same, one walks out of frame to left. 2) MCU sewage drain, airman comes into scene, walks up to sewer, enters sewer, checks for mosquitoes. 3) Several views outside drain as children walk by, stoop to look at man in sewer. 4) CU Korean natives. 5) Several views children of Korea. Military personnel coming out of sewer, walking past children and man. SLATE: 5 OCTOBER 1953. The scenes were shot at 8, 12, 16, 24, 32 and 48 frames per second. The light was a color tran at 3200 degrees kelvin. It was beamed into the microscope mirror.
